Terms of service

Plain terms for a simple service: we build your website, host it and keep it running.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you (the business ordering a website) and Kim Matthew Belas, which trades as QuickSite. Address: Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines. Email: [email protected].

How the contract is made

After we talk, we send you an offer in writing with the price. The contract starts when you accept it in writing; a reply by email is enough. These terms are part of that contract.

The service

  • We build a website for your business from your Google listing and the details you give us, and publish it once you approve it.
  • We host the site and keep it online. Email us the change you want. Small text and photo changes are included in your yearly fee; bigger changes we quote first.
  • We do not promise a place in search results, a number of visitors or a number of customers.

Term and renewal

The service runs for 12 months from the day you approve the site. It then renews for 12 months unless you cancel before the renewal date. We email you a reminder 30 to 45 days before each renewal, with the amount and how to cancel. If you are in New York, we send the notice the way New York law requires.

Prices and taxes

There is a one-time setup fee and a yearly fee, shown in your region's currency in the pricing section. The price you accept in writing is the price you pay.

  • Philippines: VAT inclusive, if applicable.
  • Everywhere else: Tax not included. Any sales tax, VAT or GST due on the fees is added to the invoice or paid by you, as the law of your country requires.

Changes to these terms and prices

We tell you by email at least 30 days before a change to these terms or to your price applies. If you do not accept the change, you can cancel before it applies and we refund the unused part of your yearly fee pro rata. A change never applies to a period you already paid for at the old price.

Refund policy

  • Setup fee. Refundable in full until you approve the site. Once you approve it, the setup fee is not refundable, because the work is done and the site is live.
  • Yearly fee. You can cancel and get the unused part of the year back pro rata, if you ask within 30 days of the payment, including a renewal payment. After 30 days the year is not refundable, and the site stays online to the end of the year.
  • Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Where the law of your country gives you a stronger right, that right applies. Nothing in this policy excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

To ask for a refund or to cancel, email [email protected].

Late payment

If a payment is late, you have 14 days' grace. After that the site goes offline until you pay. If it stays unpaid, we delete the site's data 60 days after it went offline. Either way, we help you move the domain.

Your content, your domain, our code

  • You keep ownership of your business name, logo, text and photos, and you confirm that the content you give us is yours to use. While you pay, you license us to use your content. When you leave, we give you your content and help move the domain.
  • The domain is registered in your name and is yours.
  • The templates and code stay ours.
  • Photos, reviews and other content your site shows live from Google stay Google's and its authors'. Live Google content is not part of the export.

Acceptable use

You may not ask us to publish, or use the site for:

  • anything unlawful, including false or misleading claims about your business, prices, qualifications or reviews;
  • content you do not have the right to use, such as other people's photos, text or trade marks;
  • hate, harassment, threats or sexual content;
  • malware, phishing, spam, or collecting personal data without telling people.

We may refuse or remove such content, and stop the service if it continues.

What we need from you

Accurate business details, a reply when we ask you to check the site, and payment on time. You are responsible for what your site says about your business, for example the hours, prices and claims you ask us to publish.

Services we rely on

Your site runs on Cloudflare and shows live content from Google. We are not responsible for outages, changes or limits caused by those services, but we work to get your site back to normal as quickly as we can.

Personal data on your site

If your site collects personal data, for example through a contact form, you are the controller of that data and we process it for you. Where the UK GDPR or a similar law applies, we:

  • process it only to run your site and on your documented instructions, which are these terms and what you ask us in writing;
  • make sure the people who handle it are bound to keep it confidential;
  • keep it secure with appropriate technical and organisational measures;
  • use other processors only under terms that protect the data the same way, and tell you before we add or replace one; the current ones are listed in the privacy notice;
  • help you answer requests from the people the data is about, and help you meet your duties on security, breaches and impact assessments;
  • tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach;
  • delete or return the data when the service ends, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • give you the information you need to show these duties are met, and allow reasonable audits.

Stopping

You can cancel at any time by email. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the site stays online to the end of the paid year, and refunds follow the refund policy above. We can stop the service if you break these terms, if payments stay unpaid as described under Late payment, or if the site is used for something unlawful, and we will tell you first where we can.

Liability

We take care in building and running your site, but we cannot promise it will never be offline. Our liability to you for any one claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect loss. Where the law allows, our liability for a failed guarantee is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of that. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Force majeure

Neither of us is responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, such as natural disasters, power or network failures, or government action. Payment already due stays due.

Samples and photos

The sample website on this site is a fictional business. Its photos are licensed by their authors; see the photo credits.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy notice.

Entire agreement

These terms and the written offer you accept are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Parts that by their nature continue after the service ends, such as content and domain, late payment, liability and personal data, survive it.

Law and courts

Philippine law governs these terms; the courts of Pampanga have jurisdiction, without removing mandatory rights in your country.
